General RTO contract features:
- Rent-to-own contracts are NOT a loan. There is NO interest and NO financing.
- Customers can choose rent to own for units up to $30,000. If the contract is for a unit under $15,000, one month’s rent is required at time of order. Contracts between $15,000 – $20,000 require 5% down as security deposit plus first month down. Contracts between $20,000 – $25,000 require 10% down plus first month down. Contracts between $25,000 – $30,000 require 15% down as security deposit plus first month down.
- Rent-to-own contracts are simply a 30-day commitment. Customers can return the unit at any time by calling AFG for pick up.
- Rent-to-own contracts provide no equity for the customer at any point during the term until the last payment is made. At that end of the contract period, the customer owns the unit.
- Customers can choose an optional damage liability waiver. The price is a $3 minimum monthly fee (price varies based on the price of the unit). By choosing this option, the customer will not be liable for any loss or damage to the unit caused by fire, flood, wind, hail or other Acts of God.
RTO requirements:
- A driver’s license or state ID number is required. RTO contracts cannot be listed in a company name. The contract need to be in the name of the person who signs the contract.
- Build on site orders are not available with rent to own. Our drivers need to be able to access the site to remove the unit if the customer cancels.
- RTO is available on custom orders as well as stock buildings. Liberty reserves the right to deny or alter extreme customizations on a rent to own order. Call Sales Manager if in doubt.
- Delivery distance exceeding 100 miles from a dealer’s location, requires permission from the Sales Manager or General Manager. While the first 50 miles are free, any overage mileage should be paid be paid separately, before delivery and paid to Liberty Sheds.
